John Hershel - Sir John Herchel was an English polymath, mathematician, astronomer, chemist,inventor, and experimental photographer. In 1839, Herschel invented the term 'photography' which means light-drawing or sun-writing from the roots for light and the graph to draw. While many early experimenters added to the creation of photography but Herschel brought his knowledge from astronomy and chemistry to make chemical compounds as well and the importance of the light spectrum in the processes of putting images on surfaces.
Malin Fabbri - is Swedish photographer trained in the UK. Malin decided to combine her academic and practical experience and started the website alternative photography in 1999. its used as a source of information and research for diffrent photographic processes and represents over 400 artist. Malin currently overseesas editor. She researches alternative photographic processes, makes her own prints and runs workshops. Malin has also worked professionallywith big media names like Time magazine and CNBC Europe.
